Joe Torre is no longer managing the Yankees, but he hasn't left the NY radio airwaves. I'm listening to the Yankees play the Marlins (exhibition game, but it's still Yankee baseball and I'll take it) and they just played an ad for something Joe endorsed when he was in NY. He's still endorsing it from LA - they even said that.
For some reason, this strikes me as more opportunist than the original series of ads they ran when he was here. I know Torre is a legend, but he's the Dodgers manager now, and we (and NY area retailers) need to Get Over It.
